A wide-flange steel beam frames into a wide-flange steel column utilizing a bolted shear plate and welded moment connections. A doubler plate with thickness designated as td is provided at the column web as specified in the schedule, welded with complete joint penetration welds. Continuity plates are installed within the column web matching the beam flange thickness. A shear plate is welded to the column face and bolted to the beam web.
