A 4-inch insulated metal wall panel sits on treated wood blocking wrapped in 26-gauge galvanized sheet metal with a baked-on enamel finish matching the wall panels. The wood blocking is secured with minimum 3/8-inch diameter galvanized lag bolts recessed into the surface, spaced at no more than 12 inches vertically on center. Number 10 by 3-inch long corrosion-resistant deck screws fasten the base components at no more than 12 inches on center. A continuous bead of polyurethane joint sealant is applied typically on both sides of the wall panel to completely fill all panel indents.
