A 362S162-54 cold-formed metal stud brace connects to the top track at a maximum 45-degree angle. The brace is spaced at four feet on center maximum and alternated to each side where accessible, with a maximum length of twelve feet and six inches. A continuous fifty-four mil track caps the assembly, secured with number ten sheet metal screws on each side. Four number ten sheet metal screws fasten the intersecting members together.
