This plan detail shows a metal corner guard installed at an exterior or interior drywall corner over a gypsum board wall finish. The corner guard is secured with countersunk fasteners spaced symmetrically on each leg. The wall framing consists of metal runner tracks with interior mineral fiber blanket insulation. Wall finishes are specified per finish plans.
