An aluminum access ladder features serrated aluminum rungs fastened to aluminum channel side rails with aluminum cover plates and a top safety cap. The ladder mounts to an HSS structural support via aluminum brackets secured with four quarter-inch diameter stainless steel self-tapping sheet metal screws with washers, with required separation provided at dissimilar metals. The upper portion includes a step-across platform with a safety channel rail system standing three feet six inches high. The base of the ladder assembly sets over a prefabricated equipment curb with a drainage cricket.
