An aluminum relite head frame connects directly beneath a structural header sized per plans within a framed partition wall. The interior cavity of the header is filled with sound batt insulation. Gypsum wallboard finishes the partition on each side as specified per plans. A sealant bead is applied at each side where the frame meets the wall finish.
