Gypsum board on three and five-eighths inch metal framing forms the restroom ceiling soffit and aligns with the curtain wall mullion. A twenty-two gauge galvanized steel back pan is installed behind the glazing at the mullion joint. The framing assembly transitions near the exterior glass panels designated as GL-1 and GL-2.
