The assembly consists of a chromium-plated AISI 4140 steel bar shaped into a tapered pin with a threaded base. The threaded section measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter with a 6 UNC 2A thread specification and a 2.188-inch thread length on a 2.500-inch shank. A 1/4-inch radius transition connects the main 3.225-inch to 3.239-inch diameter body to the threaded extension. The upper portion tapers at a 10.00-degree angle over a height of 6.125 inches to a pointed tip with a hexagonal feature.
