An insulated metal curb bears on a two-by wood leveling block anchored over a metal deck supported by metal purlins with batt insulation below. The exterior of the curb features one and one-half inches of rigid insulation and a metal counter flashing with a three-inch minimum face. A continuous butyl tape is installed between the standing seam metal roof panel and the metal curb unit. A two-inch by one-quarter-inch neoprene gasket sits beneath the unit base rail supporting the ERV-2 unit.
