Six-inch sixteen-gauge minimum cold-formed metal studs are spaced at sixteen inches on center and extend to the underside of the deck with continuous bridging spaced at five-foot intervals. One side receives five-eighths-inch gypsum board extending to four inches above the ceiling, or to the underside of the deck where there is no ceiling.
