Utility sleeve penetrations pass through a continuous concrete footing. Two number five reinforcing bars are provided as typical continuous footing reinforcement along the top. Pipe sleeves pass through the footing with a minimum one-foot clearance spacing and a minimum nine-inch bottom clearance. Concrete fill must be placed around the sleeve eight hours prior to pouring the main footing.
