Type 02N1A non-rated furred partition extends from the top of the slab to the underside of the deck or slab above. The assembly consists of three and five-eighths inch by twenty gauge steel studs spaced at twenty-four inches on center with one layer of five-eighths inch gypsum board on one side. Three and one-half inch mineral fiber insulation is friction-fit within the stud cavity. Limiting heights require verification with the framing manufacturer, and the partition must be braced as required to meet deflection limits.
