An eight-inch metal stud framed wall at sixteen inches on center receives an exterior insulation and finish system over DensGlass sheathing. The exterior finish aligns flush with the concrete stem wall below, painted to match the EIFS finish. A sealant joint over a backer rod is detailed typically at the transition between the framed wall and the concrete stem wall.
