A single-ply roof system membrane laps over adjacent insulation with a four-and-a-half inch minimum overlap secured by a fastener plate and long fastener driven through roof insulation into a metal deck. The membrane seam is joined with a hot air weld. Additional sealants and adhesives are installed where required by the system manufacturer.
