A concrete to porcelain tile threshold transition occurs at a door frame. Porcelain tile as scheduled is set over a waterproofing membrane that turns up at the transition, with finished concrete on the opposing side. The threshold transition accommodates a door per schedule with a variable jamb width. The assembly maintains ADA compliance with a maximum 1/2-inch vertical change and a 1/4-inch maximum vertical transition.
