This architectural detail shows the intersection of an aluminum curtain wall system with a concrete floor slab and structural steel floor beam at Level 02 (elevation 370'-3"). A curtain wall sill extension and attachment anchor to the concrete slab edge, which is protected by joint firestopping with smoke seal. Mineral-wool board insulation and spray-applied fire-resistant material wrap the structural steel framing. An air and vapor barrier is applied behind the metal backpan, which aligns with the insulated glazing unit and exterior kiss mullion.
