A recessed wall sconce mounts within a partition wall framed with six-inch metal studs. The wall assembly consists of five-eighths-inch gypsum board on both sides, with tile finishes applied as specified in the finish plans. A metal L-shaped trim at the perimeter of the recessed opening provides a clean edge for the tile. The sconce centers within a seven-inch wide opening, with the fixture specified per electrical drawings.
