This one-hour fire-rated partition head assembly connects to a concrete slab on metal deck using a Fire Trak shadowline runner and Posiklip stud attachment. Five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum wallboard is applied to both sides of the metal studs with fasteners kept to the stud framing only. Mineral wool fire safing insulation fills the void, supplemented by a static fire and smoke sealant matching the partition rating. Sound attenuation fire blanket is included per partition type.
