A hollow metal door frame connects to non-structural metal framing at rated and non-rated partition walls using metal anchors. The scheduled hollow metal door hangs on hinges within the frame, with self-adhesive silicone applied as needed. Wall finishes are specified per finish plans, with dimensions provided for the frame profile and throat. The assembly accommodates both two-hour rated and non-rated or one-hour rated partition conditions.
