A ten-inch concrete slab bears on a masonry or concrete wall with a waterstop installed at the cold joint and a drip edge formed underneath. Mineral wool firestop insulation and firestop sealant fill the joint at the top of the wall. A traffic coating is applied over a concrete topping sloped to drain, extending into a flashing cap that ties directly into the louver frame. A fire-rated curtain wall spandrel panel aligns below the louver assembly.
