Cold-formed metal stud partition intersections and corners are framed using three metal studs tied together and fastened with number 8 sheet metal screws at 16 inches on center. The intersecting stud assemblies connect directly into each other or into the main stud cluster depending on the framing condition. Gypsum board lines run continuously past the framing intersections to complete the partition assembly.
