The steel stair stringer terminates at the floor slab with a mitered end cut to match the slope of the step riser. Concrete treads fill the stair pans above the support framing. A weld plate connects directly to the stringer. Expansion anchor bolts secure the base assembly to the concrete floor slab per structural requirements, while the stringer is painted.
