This transition assembly connects ceramic tile set in thin-set mortar to a resinous flooring system over a concrete slab. A metal edge profile is installed at the junction to provide a clean edge for the tile and a termination point for the resinous floor. The resinous flooring side utilizes a feather finish as required to achieve a smooth transition to the slab surface. The specific metal profile is selected per specification section 09 30 01.
