A steel railing assembly mounts to the stair structure, featuring one-and-a-half-inch outside diameter steel pipe posts and a matching handrail supported by one-half-inch steel flat bars. Pickets maintain a spacing of less than four inches typically. The top of the railing is set at three feet six inches above the landing, with the handrail positioned at three feet zero inches.
