The transition between resilient flooring and tile flooring occurs beneath a door leaf aligned with a center line. A stainless steel Schluter Schiene transition trim separates the two finished floor materials, protecting the tile edge. The tile flooring is set in a mortar bed supported by the structural floor level. Resilient flooring as scheduled aligns flush with the adjacent tile assembly.
