A diagonal angle brace connects to a wide flange beam supporting a concrete fill over metal deck. The brace consists of an L3x3x1/4 angle welded to quarter-inch plates and stiffener plates on each side of the beam web using quarter-inch fillet welds. Two three-quarter-inch diameter by three-and-a-half-inch Nelson studs are centered on the brace for concrete fill over metadeck. An angle section L6x6x1/2 spans between adjacent beams. A secondary key plan view indicates the relationship between the HSS7x5 structural member, HSS6x2 guide, and the framing connection.
