This threshold assembly sits on a concrete slab and features a metal threshold resting above the interior finish floor. An exterior expansion joint with a half-inch of joint material and sealant is set into a one-quarter-inch tooled concrete edge. A door sweep and shoe attach to the hollow metal door, which aligns with the wall above. Jambs and walls extend beyond the primary section.
