One-inch gypsum liner panels attach to steel J runners anchored at the concrete slab edge and structural steel beam. Fasteners secure the assembly at twenty-four inches on center. A continuous bed of sealant provides a seal at the concrete slab intersection. The supporting steel beam is encased in spray-applied fireproofing.
