Nominal 3/8-inch expanded metal lath is installed over and secured to a Z-clip using a minimum of two number 12 by 3/4-inch waferhead sheet metal screws spaced at a maximum of 16 inches on center. The assembly complies with Underwriters Laboratories design number HW-D-0634.
