The storefront sill sits atop a 3-1/2" wide wood-framed wall. Sheet metal flashing includes a back dam and folded end dams extending beyond the jamb, shingled under the weather-resistive barrier at the rough opening. Soldier seams are used where the flashing is concealed by the storefront system. Below-grade waterproofing extends up the face of the wall, with two layers of vapor barrier applied at the base of the framing.
