This double stud partition wall is framed with six-inch metal studs spaced across a one-foot six-inch air space. Sound attenuation batt insulation fills the stud cavities for acoustic control. Each side of the partition is finished with one-half-inch backer board and a wall finish determined per the finish schedule.
