A stair egress door sill threshold transitions to an exterior sidewalk along W Grand Ave. A stainless steel sheet metal pan is set in a full bed of sealant at the door threshold above a concrete foundation wall. Below grade, a Bituthene 4000 below grade sheet membrane waterproofing system is applied with a drainage composite and a 12 inch Bituthene strip set in liquid membrane. An under-slab vapor barrier is installed beneath the concrete floor slab, and cement board is provided where shoring is removed.
