A one and one-half inch outer diameter by thirteen gauge steel pipe handrail is supported by a steel wall bracket. The bracket is secured to the face of the studs through the gypsum board using three-eighths inch diameter by three inches long hex washer head self-tapping screws. A fourteen gauge steel runner track clip flanges and attaches directly to the face of the studs to provide backing support.
