Ramp landings require a minimum length of 60 inches and must be at least as wide as the connecting ramp run. Straight configurations and directional changes require minimum sixty inch landings. Running slopes range between 1:20 and 1:12, with cross slopes and landing slopes not steeper than 1:48. Maximum rise for any single ramp run is limited to 30 inches, and runs with a rise greater than 6 inches require compliant handrails along with edge protection.
