A hollow metal frame is embedded in a masonry wall partition and fully grouted solid. Wire masonry anchors tie the frame into the surrounding masonry wall on both sides. Continuous sealant and backer rod seal the joint at the exterior and interior frames. A scheduled door swings within the frame, and a diamond plate finish is provided at the jamb where indicated.
