Metal stud wall framing connects to ceiling joists using a continuous track fastened with three number eight screws at each stud. Wall assemblies feature five-eighths inch gypsum board over twenty gauge metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center with R-thirteen sound insulation. Sill and head conditions incorporate continuous metal channel runners anchored to concrete floor slabs with power-driven anchors. Joints and penetrations are sealed with acoustical sealant, and electrical and telephone boxes are staggered on each side of the stud.
