An insulated metal panel accommodates a pipe penetration sealed with a field-fabricated two-piece coping flashing bedded against the panel with blind butyl sealant. Pop rivets secure the flashing assembly with quantities determined by the installer. Silicone sealant is applied at the perimeter of the pipe, between the flashings, and along the top edge of the flashing. The penetration is installed after the wall panels are erected and positioned away from panel joints.
