A rated partition head intersects a concrete-filled metal deck parallel and perpendicular to the flutes. The gap is packed with a minimum 4 PCF density mineral wool in the flute cavity and sealed with a fire-resistive joint spray. Metal straps tie the rated partition as scheduled to the assembly.
