A reinforced cast-in-place concrete planter separation wall has continuous waterproofing type WP-4B applied across the assembly. Structural foam is placed where required, and planter soil is retained behind a drainage board, high-density polyethylene barrier, and geotextile fabric. A reinforced concrete protection slab is laid over a 3-inch dimension, featuring a 6-inch uncured neoprene sheet and a 4-inch by 4-inch uncured neoprene sheet at the expansion joint gap. Rebar continues through the waterproofing membrane as typical.
