This plan detail shows the base and jamb connection of an operable partition system. A telescopic closure jamb meets the scheduled partition and wall base below, sealed with typical sealant joints. A removable handle operates the partition mechanism. The opposite side secures to a wall jamb with typical sealant and matching wall base finish below.
