An MC12x10.6 or equal steel stair stringer terminates at a concrete slab on grade. The stringer is supported by an L 3x3x5/16 x 6 inch angle welded with a one-quarter inch fillet weld. A three-quarter inch diameter expansion bolt anchors the angle assembly directly into the slab on grade.
