A precast reinforced concrete wheel stop measuring 5 1/2 inches in height and 7 1/2 inches in width rests on concrete paving over aggregate base and compacted soil. The wheel stop is secured using two number 4 rebars embedded 18 inches minimum into the natural grade and set flush with the top of the wheel stop. Epoxy adhesive may be used in lieu of rebar for concrete slab installation with owner approval. The assembly accommodates a 6-foot-long wheel stop shared by two parking spaces or a 4-foot-long wheel stop for one parking space, adjacent to concrete curbs and landscape areas where applicable.
