A structural steel equipment curb mounts directly to existing roof structure and is secured with two-by-two angles screwed around the perimeter. A curb perimeter assembly receives a top cap that is tack welded onto the curb. A high hat section is positioned across the top and tack welded onto the cap. Surrounding roof insulation, wood nailers, roof membrane, and flashing are provided by others.
