This cast-in-place concrete slab-on-grade rests on a three-inch capillary break above compacted earth, with structural thickness determined per structural drawings. A thermoplastic sheet waterproofing membrane is installed between the concrete slab and the capillary break. A floor finish specified per the finish schedule is applied to the top of the conditioned space slab.
