This plan detail shows a fire-rated glass assembly meeting a corner condition with a non-rated shadowbox. The construction features GLI-7 fire-rated glass secured in a vertical mullion, finished with PNT-11 sheet metal trim. Architectural steel angles finished with PNT-11 frame the corner junction and abut the gypsum wall assembly finished with PNT-5. A non-rated shadowbox containing one-quarter-inch tempered GL-7 low-iron glass is integrated into the adjacent return wall.
