A flat metal door frame is anchored to non-structural metal framing within a one-hour fire-rated partition wall. The assembly features an STC rated door stop with an acoustic seal gasket and a scheduled door hung on a heavy-duty door hinge. Wall finishes are specified per finish plans, and the surrounding wall assembly continues beyond the frame jamb.
