A thermoplastic reinforced membrane is adhered to the parapet wall using bonding adhesive and secured horizontally across the roof deck using HP-X fasteners and RhinoBond fastening plates spaced at a maximum of 12 inches on center. The plates are induction welded to the underside of the thermoplastic membrane, positioned 3.5 to 4 inches from the angle change. The assembly bears on a concrete topping slab over a corrugated steel roof deck with insulation. This attachment method is restricted from use with non-faced expanded polystyrene or extruded polystyrene insulation.
