The metal stud wall features continuous top tracks secured with two number eight screws at each stud and continuous blocking. Ceiling joists bear above the top track, fastened with number eight screws at eight inches on center or two number eight screws at each joist. Additional three and five-eighths inch by eighteen gauge ceiling ties are fastened with one number eight screw at each joist where applicable. Finishes are specified per the floor plan and finish schedule, with metal studs sized per the schedule.
