An international accessibility symbol establishes standard icon proportions alongside a typical accessible route of travel at a street curb. The curb ramp configuration requires a forty-eight inch minimum width, federal yellow truncated domes with a thirty-six inch minimum depth, and a twelve maximum slope per civil drawings. A concrete walk ramp incorporates a four inch minimum thick concrete ramp with an eight by eight inch thickened edge, medium broom finish, and a twelve inch border with one-quarter by one-quarter inch grooves at three-quarters of an inch on center. Concrete curbs, walks, and slopes are coordinated per civil and landscape drawings in accordance with 2019 California Building Code section 11B-406.5.12 and 11B-705.
