This heavy duty concrete pavement detail consists of a nine-inch concrete slab reinforced with number four epoxy-coated bars spaced at six inches on center both ways with two inches of typical clear cover. Below the concrete slab sits a six-inch processed aggregate base course resting upon a prepared subgrade.
